A CAMPAIGN TO THE WHITE HOUSE...... PLEASE REPOST

To Whom it May Concern:
I do not expect any reply from this as there hasn't been in a long time. I am an american citizen and have worked since the age of 12. I am now 55. I am assuming I paid more into the Medicare fund then the President or at least longer. I have had 5 strokes. Three mini ones and two hospitalized. The first was in 2012. For 15 months I attempted to treat myself with vitamins because even though I was working full time I could not afford insurance. So I then had another stroke and hospitalized. Yes, I filed disability and have been approved. I almost find it funny , yes ALMOST FIND IT FUNNY the Medicare for me has to wait 2 yrs before there is any benefits. Excuse my expression, but what idiot came up with this? I applied under the Obamacare and guess what? They gave me plans starting at a monthly rate of $500. , when I got to $800. I couldn't read anymore. Is this REALLY what we are all about in AMERICA? You must know that by the time 2 yrs rolls by I will not longer be here. This message, no doubt will be the  last I will have written. I see where everybody else qualifies for these benefits. Yep, immigration.  What am I missing? Does anybody read AARP and there comments? We are a "group" of people fighting for our life. We are a group of people who paid for these benefits to those before us and to those who just became us or attempting to be us... US meaning Americans.WHAT happened to the working Americans who need it now before they die? Who paid for this.  Tell me Mr President, Vice President and or Representative, tell me what you are all thinking or are you?   HOW CAN THIS BE? I send this to you in fighting for MY life and for all those listed in AARP who are fighting for there's too.   Again, I expect nothing, no reply cause its easier to buried this under the rug and hope I go away.  Well, your hope is excellent.... without medical coverage I will be gone way before 2 yrs.  I hope you or yours never go through this and lives a happy and well life. Oh wait, You have you very own retirement and medical coverage, oh no, wait again.Am I supporting that too.  Yes I am.............. We are not EXPENDABLE. WE ARE SOMEBODY AND SOMEBODY NEEDS TO LISTEN, TO HEAR from those who deserve to be acknowledged.

Please help us who are fighting for our life waiting 2 yrs for coverage.   We need the EXCEPTIONAL person to step up and take action.... NO WAIT............ TAKE ACTION !!! NOT IN 10 YRS FROM NOW EITHER.

Yours Respectfully,
A dying American Citizen -  ( in 2014, what are the odds) Written with help from a friend.

A Girl Named "Patches" Part 32

Glen and I got back to Ohio after a very very long bus ride.  And as planned within two weeks I met Cliff in the park. The county park had a wishing well and together we through in a penny and made our wish. A wish that things would finally get better and work out for us. We hugged and was so happy to be together again. We knew we had a lot of work to do as we were still at the bottom. No car, no job, no home...nothing. But this time it seemed we had a stronger will to help us get through.

Glenn would stay with his grandma where he would be housed and clothed and I knew she loved him. The alternative was homeless and hungry. Really, is that really a choice? It wasn't for me. I had no doubt she loved him with all her heart. In fact perhaps to much so. She would develop a love for her grandson that would eventually become her life. She lived for him.

Cliff and I would take to the streets. Sleeping on porches, under bridges or when really lucky on somebody's couch. We walked factory to factory applying for a job. My thought to solve all the other problems was money and a job seemed to be the solution.

It seemed so simple. But, as we split up during some days I would discover that Cliff was back at the coffee shop. I would then discover he wasn't filling out any applications and that he could not read or write. So I began filling the applications out for him and all he had to do was sign it, well, his signature may as well been marked with an "X".... at least it would have been readable.  I wondered just how serious he was in working.

It would be another week or so and I got my job back at the box factory.  I knew I would need a car though to get there to keep the job so with my first check I bought a car for $100.00. This car was a real treat. Honestly, I loved it ! I had to put oil, water and transmission fluid in it every time I drove it. It had a home made fender made of duck tape I think and it really was a help with speeding. I could not get over 35 miles an hour without the entire front end shaking.  Wow I loved this car !! The color was another great additive. It was a bright blue like turquoise.  LOL..... Couldn't miss me, nope !! As funky as this car was it was doing it's job. Getting me to and from work and I was learning how to drive. My new plan was to work a few more weeks and upgrade to a $300 or $400 dollar car. I know, I know, dreams of grandeur eh??? Well, I had to have them.  Mmmmmmmm..... what a car !! I named her Bertha.
